For 2 servings:
1. Take 1 cup of rice, rinse well in several changes of water and drain. Then add 2 cups of fresh water to the rice in a large saucepan and bring to a vigorous boil.
2. Turn the heat down very low, cover with a tight fitting lid and simmer without stirring or peeking for 15 minutes.
3. Turn the heat off and let the rice stand covered for 15 minutes before serving
